Unit for Theme-based collaboration

Background
The unit for Theme Based Collaboration (TBS) was inspired by Kings Health Partners in London and Clinical Academic Groups (CAG) in Denmark. TBS aims to contribute to creating psychiatry, where there is coherence and cooperation between psychiatric clinics and the research units across the three general psychiatry in Region Zealand for the target groups of personality disorder, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. The unit is fully organized with a steering group (chairman: medical deputy director Søren Bredkjær), a coordination group (chairman: senior researcher Nina Reinholt), and a TBS team consisting of senior researcher Nina Reinholt (leader) and specialist psychologist Vijitha Sri Surendran.

Vision for Unity for TBS
The overall vision of TBS is to develop and future-proof investigation and treatment via research and to create coherence and cooperation between the psychiatric clinics and the two research units for the target groups' personality disorder, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The collaboration between clinic and research must contribute to evidence-based investigation and treatment of the highest quality being offered in psychiatric clinics. This must be done by: - The psychiatric clinics help to identify relevant research questions - The psychiatric clinics participate in the research - New research knowledge is implemented in the clinics.
